Danielle Perkins, Ph.D., APRN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Danielle Perkins has always been passionate about helping others achieve their highest degree of wellness; as a nurse of 20 years, she has strived to do just that. Danielle has practiced general medical-surgical nursing and behavioral health nursing with patients across the lifespan in hospitals, clinics, community, and home settings. However, her passion for mental health has always burned brightest, leading her to earn her Ph.D. in nursing with research focused on investigating depression in formerly incarcerated young Black men. Danielle believes that all individuals have dignity, no matter their life circumstances, and are capable of healing and restoration to their highest functioning. She values honesty, accountability, and redemption and aspires to not only serve her community but to continue learning and growing from those experiences.
Danielle works closely with adults and teenagers, ages 13 years and up, experiencing symptoms such as depression, anxiety, mood swings, disturbed sleep, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and other behavior disruptions. Danielle does not provide therapy or counseling services at this time. Her office is located at our Castleton office.
