Sherrie Waugh is a Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS) with 18 years of experience helping drivers aged 15 and older with medical, physical, cognitive, or visual challenges. With a background in Occupational Therapy, Sherrie specializes in empowering individuals to regain or maintain their independence through safe, adaptive driving solutions.

She provides comprehensive driver assessments, develops individualized training plans, and recommendsadaptive equipment or vehicle modifications tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her client-centered, evidence-based approach ensures that every person receives the tools and support necessary—whether returning to driving, transitioning to adaptive equipment, or exploring alternative mobility options.

Sherrie’s leadership and advocacy in the field have been nationally recognized—she was featured in The New York Times for her expertise and dedication to helping individuals and families navigate the often complex decisions surrounding driving and independence.

A proud member of the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED), Sherrie stays current with continuing education, emerging technologies, and best practices in the field.
