Dr. Krowel is a clinical and aviation neuropsychologist, specializing in comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessment for adults and older adults. She has extensive experience evaluating a wide range of neurological, medical, and psychiatric conditions, including dementia (such as Alzheimer’s disease), movement disorders (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis), traumatic brain injury, stroke, seizure disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities, and mood and anxiety disorders. Her assessments are designed to clarify diagnosis, guide treatment, and provide practical, functional recommendations for patients, families, and referring providers.

Dr. Krowel is also specially trained in FAA evaluations, HIMS, and Tier 2 personality assessments for pilots and air traffic controllers. She frequently evaluates aviators with histories of SSRI use, HIV seropositivity, alcohol/substance concerns, neurological disorders, or ADHD. Her work in this area reflects her commitment to balancing safety with compassionate, evidence-based care.

An Army combat veteran, Dr. Krowel values serving military personnel, veterans, and first responders, and she is dedicated to creating a practice environment that is LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally sensitive, and strengths-based. She approaches each case with warmth, collaboration, and authenticity, helping clients and families feel understood while equipping them with meaningful next steps.
