Nina Miller, Psy.D.

Doctoral Level Therapist

Dr. Nina Miller received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Schaumburg campus. She completed her doctoral internship at University of Cincinnati, Counseling and Psychological Services. She has worked in various settings conducting psychological assessments and providing therapy to clients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions. Dr. Miller utilizes a comprehensive approach to psychological assessment with experience in the areas of Attention Deficit/Hyperactive disorder, intellectual disability, and psychiatric disorders.


Dr. Miller’s approach to therapy is to create a safe environment where the client feels comfortable by using empathy, warmth, and genuineness to build trust and establish a strong therapeutic relationship. Dr. Miller utilizes a flexible, integrative approach to meet the unique needs of each client. She focuses on acceptance, strengths, values, and growth to help increase functioning and allow clients to lead more meaningful lives.


Dr. Miller specializes in individual therapy with adolescents (ages 16+), young adults, and adults with trauma, anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, self-injurious behaviors, suicidality, disordered eating, and other presenting problems.
