Dear Clients, Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,
We continue to monitor information about COVID-19. The Indiana State Department of Health has been making preparations to limit the spread and impact of COVID-19 in Indiana. It is our goal to follow best practices for infection prevention while we continue to safely provide ongoing mental health service to our clients and families.
If you’ve recently been in any airport, please wait 14 days before coming in for an appointment.
If you or someone close to you has recently traveled to or from Iran, South Korea, China, or Italy, we insist you postpone booking an appointment until further notice. If this applies to you, please inform us via email or phone, and we will put you on a dedicated wait-list for an appointment.
If you or anyone else in your household are experiencing fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please do not come into our office. You may be asked to leave the office and reschedule your appointment if you are symptomatic and decide to come to your appointment. You may call our office at (317) 748-0034 to discuss potential arrangements for your appointment.
As of 6/1/2020
We will be providing feedback and therapy sessions via HIPAA compliant video-conferencing sessions or in-person sessions, whichever you prefer.
We value the input provided by collateral family/friends, however, at this time we are limiting each patient to only be accompanied by one collateral.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recommended the following tips to prevent the spread of illness:
Regularly wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if washing with soap and water is not immediately available
Avoid touching eyes, nose, and/or mouth
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
Stay at home when experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath
Cover coughs and sneezes with tissues or with the inside of the elbow
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
