Karen Messmer-Wilson, Ph.D., NCSP, IPE
Licensed School Psychologist
Dr. Karen Messmer-Wilson is a licensed school psychologist specializing in comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents. She has extensive experience assessing concerns related to autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), specific learning disorders, intellectual disability, and other developmental and academic challenges. Her evaluations are designed to provide diagnostic clarity while identifying each child's unique strengths and individualized recommendations for home, school, and treatment planning. Her goal is not simply to provide a diagnosis, but to help families better understand how their child learns, processes information, and thrives so they can access the supports and opportunities that foster long-term success.
Dr. Messmer-Wilson believes that every child deserves to be understood beyond test scores. She takes a warm, collaborative, and family-centered approach, working closely with parents to ensure they feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout the evaluation process. She strives to create a comfortable, engaging environment where children can demonstrate their true abilities and feel at ease.
Dr. Messmer-Wilson is currently accepting new clients and has immediate availability for comprehensive psychoeducational assessments.
